(i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s
Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC,
CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
(iii) Candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and
Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of
NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.
(iv) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such masters programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted

RPSC Assistant Professor Exam Pattern 2020

The RPSC Assistant Professor exam pattern for the recruitment 2020 is of stages:

Stage 1 – Objective type Written Examination

Stage 2 – Interview round

The final merit list is prepared based on the performance of the candidates in these two stages.

RPSC Asst. Professor Exam Pattern – Written Exam

The RPSC Assistant Professor written examination is divided into three papers. Two papers are subject specific and one paper is on the General studies of Rajasthan. Candidates qualifying the written screening test appear for the interview round.

Exam Pattern For Paper I and Paper II (Concerned Subjects):

Written Objective type paper
Maximum Marks : 75
Number of Questions : 150
Duration of Paper : 3 Hours
Equal weightage of all questions i.e, carry same marks
Every question carries 0.5 marks.
There will be Negative Marking. For every three wrong answers, one mark will be deducted from the score.

Exam Pattern For Paper III (General Studies of Rajasthan):

Written Objective type paper
Maximum Marks : 50
Number of Questions : 100
Duration of Paper : 2 Hours
All questions carry equal marks.Every question carries 0.5 marks.
There will be Negative Marking. For every three wrong answers, one mark will be deducted from the score.
